Antimicrobial properties of green synthesized silver and chitosan nanocomposites

چکیده

An eco-friendly and simple approach was carried out for the synthesis of silver-chitosan nanocomposites using Azadirachta indica fluconazole-mediated aqueous extract. This extract acted as a reducing agent well capping green silver nanoparticles. Chitosan nanoparticles on other hand were synthesized from deacetylation chitin matrix. To confirm nanoparticle synthesis, UV- A visible spectrophotometer used FTIR analysis confirmed presence functional groups in prepared The morphological characteristics chitosan nano-composites studied scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. subjected to well-loaded agar plates evaluation antibacterial properties against Streptococcus mutans Candida albicans their antifungal properties. showed activities common oral micro flora such which measured zone inhibition method. is one-step, economical eco-friendly, biocompatible, effective alternative various prosthetic applications.
